About the job Job title: Senior Project Manager Industry Interior Fit-out commercial Projects Qualification: B.E-Civil Experience: Minimum 8 -10 years Location: Chennai Reports to: CEO/Director Salary: The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action that will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator. Job description Direct and oversee completion of the projects with good communication skills Develop a plan of action including schedule, resources, and work plan Assess risks and establish contingency plans This job majorly involves field/ site work. Qualifications Bachelor's degree 8-10 years of experience in project management or relevant fields Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project Strong communication skills Experience working with a team Requirements: Should be willing to go and stay near or at the Project sites anywhere in India when necessary. Must have knowledge of all site activities, i.e., Civil, Interior finishing, Electrical, painting, plumbing, tiling, and carpentry tasks. Must have your own vehicle and a valid driving license is required. (Petrol allowance will be provided). Role: Assume responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the Assistant project managers. Skills required: Knowledge in software like Excel, Word & Powerpoint. Ability to measure make drawings in AutoCAD. Ability to read all the site drawings. Ability to prepare and verify bills and estimates, etc in AutoCAD & Excel when necessary. Ability to prepare and verify BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and BOM (Bill of Materials). Site supervision for quality of work. Very good communication skills in English - Both verbal and written skills. Ability to prepare a Project management schedule for each project. Ability to prepare site progress reports regularly and send via e-mail. Ability to learn, improve knowledge and skills required to meet the expectations of the role. Responsibilities: Management of site activities and adherence to budget. Supervision of ongoing civil, interior & MEP works such as Project planning, Layout, RCC Work, concreting, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, painting, electrical, plumbing, etc., at all stages. To be in charge of all functions of the project including instructing and monitoring the site Labour force. Coordinating with all other Consultants, Subcontractors, Architects & Clients. Control and maintain the cost of material consumption, manpower utilization, and machine utilization Ensure the quality work as per design specifications without any delay. Reports internally to the CEO. Externally to the Client representative/ PMC representative. Maintain the record of all the inspections of works as per the standard inspection checklists. Ensure safe work practices at the site by educating and using appropriate PPEs which are to be maintained in good condition. Attend refresher QA/QC training on quality and process compliance. Contribute and support CEO in achieving client satisfaction scores. Delivering projects on time.
