Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

What you will do: Develop automation in existing tools and frameworks and extend those tools and frameworks as necessary . Execute both white- and black-box testing . Identify current testing gaps, process flaws, suggest and implement improvements to increase product quality. Developing, executing, and maintaining automation test scripts to meet software release deliverables, project testing requirements, and other quality considerations. Working to minimize manual testing by identifying high-ROI test cases and automating them. Being an integral part of an Agile Engineering team, working interactively with software engineers, testing engineers, and product managers for the full development life cycle . Helping to ensure functionality delivered in each sprint is well tested, utilizing automation wherever possible . Developing smoke, functional, regression, and integration test suites for GUI front-end, API Services and Database backend . Recommending strategies and methods to improve test plans and test processes . What you bring : Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience. 4 + years of professional experience working in a software development environment . Hands-on Experience on Cypress or Katalon Automation tool. Experience with performance testing (using Jmeter , K6 or similar) . Experience using a broad range of test automation frameworks ( e.g., Cucumber, R estAssured , TestNG or similar) . Experience in programming with one or more of the following languages Java, JavaScript , groovy . Working with relation databases (Oracle, MySQL or similar) . Strong experience with distributed source code control systems, like Git. Familiarity with SDLC practices of Agile (Lean, Scrum, XP or similar) . Experience working with Devops tools like Ansible, Jenkins and practices like continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familia rity with enterprise architecture and SOA best practices . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Great team player and collaborates well with Onshore/ O ffshore team s . Working knowledge of Linux a plus. Experience working with WebLogic , Spring Boot or Tomcat application server a plus. Experience in Healthcare domain a plus .
