Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Techno-Functional QA to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of technology solutions for our Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC). The ideal candidate will combine expertise in quality assurance methodologies with a strong understanding of NBFC operations, including lending workflows, co-lending platforms, regulatory compliance, and customer-centric financial systems. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for functional, technical, and integration testing across NBFC-specific platforms like Loan Management Systems, Loan origination systems, CRM portals, co-lending systems, etc. Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage aligned with business requirements. Functional and Technical Testing: Perform functional testing to validate business processes, customer journeys, and compliance requirements. Conduct technical testing for APIs, system integrations, and database validations using tools like Postman and SQL. Ensure the performance and scalability of financial applications by conducting load and stress testing using tools like JMeter. Automation and Process Improvement: Design and implement automation test frameworks to enhance testing efficiency, utilizing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar platforms. Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable deployments. Compliance and Risk Management: Validate systems for adherence to Indian NBFC regulations, including RBI guidelines, KYC norms, and data privacy standards. Test and monitor controls for fraud detection, credit risk evaluation, and data security. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, ensuring timely resolution by coordinating with development teams. Analyse root causes of recurring issues and recommend preventive measures. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of technology solutions with organizational objectives. Provide QA insights and support during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phases. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, scripts, and results. Generate and present QA metrics to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement. Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in quality assurance roles, with a strong focus on functional and technical testing. Prior experience in NBFCs, banking, or financial services is mandatory. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Appium, or equivalent. Knowledge of SQL and experience validating database integrity. Familiarity with API testing and microservices architecture. Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indian NBFC operations, including lending, collections, co-lending, and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of RBI guidelines, AML/KYC requirements, and financial reporting standards. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
