QA Engineer for Java Spring Boot Applications (4-5 Years Experience) We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in testing and automation to ensure the quality and reliability of our Java Spring Boot applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in automation testing, a strong understanding of Java and Spring Boot, and experience with API testing and Selenium. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automation test cases using TestNG. Perform comprehensive testing of Java Spring Boot applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security. Develop and maintain API automation test scripts and validate the integration of services. Conduct manual and automated testing using Selenium for UI components. Create detailed and clear defect reports and work with the development team for resolution. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand application requirements and design effective test plans. Monitor and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and coverage. Requirements: 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation. Proficiency in TestNG for test case automation. Good understanding of Java and Spring Boot for analyzing and testing backend systems. Hands-on experience with API testing and automation tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar. Basic experience in Selenium automation for testing UI components. Familiarity with version control tools like Git or Bitbucket. Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle. Good-to-Have Skills: Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for integrating automated tests. Exposure to agile methodologies and tools like JIRA. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
