Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Safety Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs to ensure a safe working environment across all our construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction safety regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor safety personnel. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety management systems and procedures in compliance with local, state, and national regulations. Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Investigate and analyze accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Prepare and deliver safety training programs for employees and subcontractors. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, training sessions, and incident reports. Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills. Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and subcontractors on safety-related matters. Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses (JHAs) for various construction activities. Ensure the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE). Monitor and control hazardous materials and waste management on construction sites. Implement and oversee permit-to-work systems for high-risk activities. Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's safety culture. Key Skills: Extensive knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices. Strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to lead and motivate teams. Proficiency in developing and delivering safety training programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite and safety management software. Knowledge of Indian construction safety regulations and standards. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Knowledge of fire safety, electrical safety, and scaffolding safety. THIS JOB WILL REQUIRE MOVING BETWEEN DIFFERENT SITES IN AND AROUND HYDERABAD.
