The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior sales leadership, a deep understanding of the sales process, and the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team. As a Senior Sales Head , you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic sales initiatives to achieve and exceed organizational goals. Team Leadership Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of sales professionals. Set clear, achievable sales targets and performance benchmarks. Coach, mentor, and guide team members to maximize their potential and productivity. Foster a collaborative and motivating environment to ensure team success. 2. Sales Strategy and Planning Design and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth. Collaborate with senior management to establish ambitious yet attainable sales objectives. Develop localized strategies tailored to specific regions or customer segments. 3 . Customer Relationship Management Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners. Proactively address customer concerns and provide effective resolutions to ensure satisfaction. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to existing clients, driving additional revenue streams. 4. Sales Performance Analysis Track and evaluate sales team performance through key metrics and KPIs. Prepare and present detailed sales performance reports to senior management. Identify underperforming areas and implement corrective measures to enhance productivity. Oversee dealer management and ensure alignment with overall sales objectives. 5. Training and Development Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on product knowledge and sales strategies. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement. Provide daily guidance and on-the-ground support to field sales personnel. Mentor team members to build leadership skills and prepare them for future roles. 6. Budget Management Plan, manage, and optimize the sales department budget. Ensure that all sales activities are conducted in a cost-effective manner while maximizing ROI. 7. Collaboration with Other Departments Partner with marketing, product development, and manufacturing teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Provide insights and feedback from clients to influence product innovation and marketing campaigns. 8 . Market Intelligence Stay ahead of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies by gathering and analysing market intelligence. Use this information to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the market. Support the execution of marketing campaigns and on-ground sales activities. Qualifications and Requirements: Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the electrical, agricultural, or submersible pump industries. Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) , Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred. Expertise: Strong knowledge of pump technology, applications in agriculture, and industrial solutions. Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Analytical mind set with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions. Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and market analysis. Key Competencies: Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients and internal teams effectively. Results-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
