Senior SAP MM Consultant

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Lead end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects, including requirement gathering, process design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Optimize SAP MM processes to meet business requirements and industry standards. Ensure smooth integration of SAP MM with other modules such as SD, PP, WM, and FI/CO. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration issues. Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability. Monitor SAP MM systems for performance and reliability, recommending improvements as needed. Configure SAP MM functionalities, including procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and invoice verification. Develop and manage customizations using tools like user exits and BAdIs when required. Work with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, providing scalable and efficient SAP MM solutions. Conduct gap analysis and recommend system enhancements or process changes. Lead SAP MM upgrade projects and ensure compatibility with evolving business processes. Implement new functionalities and features as part of continuous system improvement. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specs, process flows, and user guides. Knowledge and Skills: Deep understanding of SAP MM functionalities such as procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and invoice verification. Strong expertise in SAP MM configuration and customization. Familiarity with integration points between MM and other modules (SD, PP, WM, FI/CO). Knowledge of S/4HANA MM functionalities and implementation. Proficiency in SAP tools like IDocs, LSMW, and debugging techniques. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex issues. Ability to conduct gap analysis and recommend tailored solutions. Experience in managing multiple SAP MM implementation or upgrade projects Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 6 to15 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM, including at least 2 full-cycle implementation projects. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and material valuation in SAP MM. Expertise in SAP MM integration with other modules like SD, PP, WM, and FI/CO. Proficiency in SAP tools, including IDoc, LSMW, and debugging (preferred). Experience with S/4HANA MM implementation is a significant advantage .
