Senior SEO Specialist Job brief As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings for our B2B products and services. You will lead SEO efforts, analyze performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals. 1. Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to the IT B2B sector, focusing on keyword research, on-page optimization, and off-page optimization techniques. Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities and target keywords. Develop and execute link building strategies to improve domain authority and search engine rankings. Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices, particularly within the B2B space. Technical SEO & Website Optimization: Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues that impact search engine rankings, including site speed, mobile optimization, and crawlability. Collaborate with web developers and content creators to ensure SEO best practices are implemented during website development and content creation. Optimize website content, meta descriptions, and page titles for search engine visibility. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyze website traffic, user behaviour, and search engine rankings using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of SEO efforts and demonstrate ROI. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve SEO performance and achieve business goals. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor and guide junior SEO specialists, providing training and support. Collaborate with other marketing team members, including content creators, web developers, and sales teams, to ensure alignment and synergy. Communicate SEO strategies and performance data to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. 2. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 8-12 years of experience in SEO, with a strong focus on B2B and IT industries. Proven track record of successfully implementing SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture. Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve SEO-related issues. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner. B2B SEO Knowledge: Deep understanding of B2B SEO best practices, including keyword research, content marketing, and link building strategies. Experience with B2B SaaS or IT industries is a plus.
