Experience in building construction, complete knowledge of all activities from setting out to finishing works.Responsibilities: Site Management: Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities. Ensure work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and schedules. Manage and supervise site personnel, including subcontractors. Setting Out and Surveying: Accurately set out the works from engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct regular site surveys to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to site teams. Resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during construction. Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures. Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards. Identify and address any defects or non-conformances. Progress Monitoring: Monitor and track project progress against the schedule. Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project managers. Identify and mitigate potential delays. Material Management: Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials. Monitor material deliveries and ensure they meet specifications. Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations on site. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments. Promote a safe working environment. Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Maintain clear and effective communication channels. Attend project meetings.
