Senior Software Developer Location: Jaipur, India We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Jaipur office team. This role plays a key part in developing the Valamis learning platform , ensuring it remains stable, high-performing, and secure while evolving to meet user needs. As a Senior Software Developer at Valamis, you will contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. As Senior Software Developer you will: Understand requirements, write clean, high-quality code, and follow best practices. Develop and perform optimize of scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI , integrating Elasticsearch for complex searches. Design and optimize relational databases for performance, reliability, and scalability. Develop robust microservices to handle high traffic and complex workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver effective solutions. Mentor less experienced team members. Conduct timely code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. What are we looking for in our new colleague? Technical Skills Hands on 5+ years of working experience in software development using Python, Fast API. Strong knowledge of Kafka for implementing real-time event-driven architectures. Expertise with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and proficiency in SQL. Working experience with microservices architecture. Soft Skills Believe in teamwork and are able to work in a team efficiently. Good time management skills and you are good at prioritizing tasks. Independent working style and able to do decisions based on your knowledge and experience. Great communication and collaboration skills. Able to communicate fluently in English. It will be advantage if You are familiar with Kubernetes, Redis, Clickhouse . You have working experience with Agile development environment. We support you in your development in many ways.
