As a Senior Software Engineer - Data Platforms, you will: Help build / integrate innovative products and solutions to work with industry leading data and analytics platforms Maintain knowledge on industry innovations, trends and practices to curate a continual stream of incubated projects and create rapid product prototypes Mandatory Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field At least 5 years of professional software development experience (internship experience does not apply) At least 2 years of experience in building software solutions using one or more of the platforms, tools or concepts listed below: Knowledge Graph / Ontology Apache Spark Spark SQL internals (eg: Catalyst Optimizer) Query engines (eg: Presto) OpenTable formats (e.g: Iceberg) Databricks Snowflake At least 2 years of experience in building software using at least 1 of the following: Scala, Java, Python At least 2 years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
