Job Description Design, build, and maintain server-side logic and databases. Implement APIs to support front-end applications and external services. Design and optimize database schemas. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Optimize code and database queries for performance, scalability, and reliability. Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate the software development lifecycle. Set up, configure, and manage services on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to support scalable, resilient, and secure application architectures. Utilize Docker for containerized deployments, ensuring scalability and consistency across environments. Implement and manage Kubernetes for container orchestration, leveraging features such as auto-scaling and auto-healing. Implement monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus to oversee the health and performance of applications. Integrate APIs and webhooks to connect and automate workflows between different systems. Use Git for version control and collaborate with the team on code management. Qualifications Strong command in C++ for backend development. Proven experience of writing efficient database queries (both SQL and NoSQL). Experience in developing solutions for data-intensive IoT sensor data streaming applications. Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, including setting up and managing their services. Strong knowledge of Docker for containerized deployments. Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration. Bachelor s or equivalent higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with additional programming languages or technologies (e.g. Python and Java or C#). Experience with other IoT platforms and technologies is a plus.
