Job Description

Experience : 3-5 years Location: Bangalore Responsibilities: Reverse-engineer existing codebases to understand product functionality and business logic. Work with a running product, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and enhance features. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in Java Scala. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to implement new features. Debug and resolve complex production issues with minimal supervision. Optimize performance and ensure system reliability for a high-traffic environment. Follow best practices for code quality, CI/CD, and software design patterns. Requirements 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java and Scala development. Strong expertise in reverse-engineering complex codebases. Solid understanding of functional programming and OOP principles. Experience working with existing, large-scale, and production-grade systems. Proficiency in Spring Boot, Akka, or Play framework. Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases). Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, or other messaging systems (preferred). Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems. Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools. Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize existing code. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. (Preferred but Not Mandatory) Experience with DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
