Senior Specialist Network Operations Bangalore, GHQ Technology CYBER SECURITY OPERATIONS JOB DESCRIPTION AB InBev GCC was incorporated in 2014 as a strategic partner for Anheuser-Busch InBev The center leverages the power of data and analytics to drive growth for critical business functions such as operations, finance, people, and technology The teams are transforming Operations through Tech and Analytics, Do You Dream Big We Need You, Job Title: Senior Specialist Network Operations Location: Bengaluru Reporting to: Senior Manager Global Network Operations Centre Purpose of the role Own more than one technical platform and act as single point of contact with end to end responsibility from technical standpoint, Ensure Technical controls and platform hygiene are well maintained throughout the year, Measure the technical controls configuration management, develop standards, ensure standards are maintained, Act as point of escalation for technical issues, Look for opportunities to automate repeated tasks, Conduct fortnightly platform review with GNOC leadership team, Ensure a 24x7 response to crisis or escalation with technology SMEs, Lead periodic reviews with Network operations and deployment vendors to discuss product features and flaws and ensure both are addressed on timely manner, Review the new service transition with Design and delivery team and ensure baseline requirements are met before services are accepted in BAU support, Ensure platform SOP, and other documents are periodically reviewed and kept up to date, Participate in hiring drives to review the candidate?s technical skills, Strive to achieve and maintain high customer survey feedback for respected tower, Ensure global network architecture standards are in place and all deployments accepted into operations are as per global standards, Maintain a learning environment in the team by participating in internal and external trainings, Work closely with Service delivery teams to provide platform related inputs and statistics to be included in periodic reviews, Key tasks & accountabilities Technical leadership of the designated technology platform, Run and maintain the operational aspects of towers like configuration management, inclusion of new features, global architecture standards, technical documentation, Manage technical escalation and crisis in a 24x7 operational environment, Lead periodic reviews with Network vendors to discuss product features and flaws and ensure both are addressed on timely manner, Review the new service transition with Design and delivery team and ensure baseline requirements are met before services are accepted in BAU support, Ensure platform SOP, and other documents are periodically reviewed and kept up to date, Ensure network management platform is setup as per requirement Will be responsible for managing the network management platform, Participate in hiring drives to review the candidates technical skills, Strive to achieve and maintain high customer survey feedback for respected tower, Ensure global network architecture standards are in place and all deployments accepted into operations are as per global standards, Maintain a learning environment in the team by participating in internal and external trainings, Work closely with Service delivery teams to provide platform related inputs and statistics to be included in periodic reviews, Act as technical interface to AB InBev Zones on escalated matters, Business Environment Challenges: Work closely with Service delivery teams to provide platform related inputs and statistics to be included in periodic reviews, Work and drive vendors product features and flaws and ensure both are addressed on timely manner, Work closely with the project delivery team and the GNOC to ensure a smooth transition of new services into GNOC, Ensure Technical controls and platform hygiene are well maintained throughout the year, Manage relationship with Zone peers, architecture and other technology groups, Evaluation Criteria: Maintain global network architecture standards and ensure all deployments are as per global standards, Functional governance and disciplines embedded into all SME roles, Questions from business stakeholders answered satisfactorily within agreeable time, Achieve ?Satisfied? level of CSAT within first 0 6 months of services and then a level up in the 2H, Qualifications, Experience, Skills Education and Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline, 8 10 years IT experience as Subject Matter Expert in the field of network operations and delivery, CCNP or CCIE in Routing and Switching Domain is a Must, Python and R coding experience will be an added advantage, General Experience: 5 years of operations experience in lead role as a network operation lead, Should have worked in global network operations support environment, Management: Exceptional ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, delivering on time, within budget while meeting or exceeding customer service level agreements, Process Improvement: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required, including an understanding of how to interpret customer business needs, translating them into operational requirements and solutions, Technical: Result oriented with ability to lead complex network assignments, Exceptional at translating and demonstrating business needs into IT solutions which support business processes or required functionality with the goal of business alignment, business support and commitment for financial sponsorship and initiative approval, Acknowledged as an expert who is proficient in network technologies including Campus LAN, DC LAN, Enterprise WAN, Unified WLAN, IPSEC VPNs and DMVPNs, Should have worked on one SD-WAN platform like MERAKI, VIPTELA or VELO CLOUD, Experience on network security platform like PALO ALTO and ZSCALER web proxy will be added advantage, Personal: Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication skills in English, Ability to share technical expertise successfully, clearly and effectively with all levels of audiences, Strong flexibility and ability to thrive in dynamic environment, And above all of this, an undying love for beer!
