Role reports to: Senior Manager Cloud & Infra Location: Bangalore What you will do We are looking for a knowledgeable Storage Engineer to join our Storage Team, specializing in managing and optimizing our storage infrastructure, which includes Netapp NAS, Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO), Amazon FSX for Netapp Ontap and HPE 3PAR. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and a proactive approach to ensure high availability and performance across our storage solutions. Key Responsibilities Storage Management: Administer and manage storage solutions including Netapp NAS, CVO, Amazon FSX and HPE 3PAR. Monitor system performance and capacity, performing tuning and optimization as necessary. Implementation and Configuration: Plan, design, and implement new storage solutions and upgrades, with a focus on FSX integration and optimization. Configure and maintain storage arrays, including provisioning. Cloud Storage Integration: Manage Cloud Volumes ONTAP for hybrid environments. Ensure proper configuration of data storage and transfer between on-premises and cloud environments. Manage FSX cloud infrastructure Backup and Recovery: Ensure data integrity through regular backups and restoration testing. Develop and maintain disaster recovery for both on-premises and cloud storage systems. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve storage-related incidents and performance issues promptly. Collaborate with IT teams to provide effective and timely support. Collaboration: Engage in continuous learning to stay current with storage technologies, including Cloud Volumes ONTAP, FSX and hybrid cloud trends. What we are looking for Qualifications Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 5+ years of experience in storage management, specifically NAS, NetApp, Amazon FSX, HPE 3PAR, and Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO). Hands-on experience with storage protocols (NFS and CIFS). Technical Skills: Strong understanding of storage architectures, best practices, and hybrid cloud environments, particularly with Cloud Volumes ONTAP and FSX. Familiarity with cloud storage technologies and data management strategies. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator, Cloud Certifications) are preferred but not mandatory.
