Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically in designing U.S. commercial and residential buildings. Key Responsibilities: Perform quality checks on both structural designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards. Review and approve structural drawings for technical accuracy and constructability. Collaborate and coordinate with Architects and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineers during project development. Address and resolve RFIs (Requests for Information) related to structural design. Provide technical expertise in the design of wood, steel, and CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit) buildings. Work with advanced structural analysis and design software, such as:( RISA, Tekla Tedds, Enercalc, Mathcad ) Ensure projects meet deadlines and maintain the highest quality standards. Qualifications: Experience: 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on U.S. commercial buildings. Expertise in Building Codes: Strong knowledge of ASCE, IBC, AISI, ACI, and NDS standards. Material Expertise: Proven experience with wood, steel, and CMU building design. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent). Additional Skills (Advantageous) Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for structural design and documentation.
