We are looking for a brilliant Senior System Administrator to resolve, maintain and manage software/ network requests that meet the needs of our target audience. Responsibilities Design, plan and execute network infrastructure based on industry best practices. Management of physical and virtual firewalls, and network. Verification and maintenance of business continuity plan. Manage and maintain the organizations IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses, ensuring proper tracking and lifecycle management. Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, networks, and enterprise systems. Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure system security and operational efficiency. Implement and oversee IT security measures, including regular internal Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT). Develop, implement, and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems. Monitor and ensure IT infrastructures high availability, performance, and security, including servers, networks, and endpoint devices. Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits, addressing vulnerabilities promptly. Stay updated on emerging security threats and implement preventive measures to safeguard company assets. Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance. Maintain thorough documentation for IT systems, processes, security incidents, and business continuity procedures. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies related to IT and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT and security strategies with business objectives. Implement and oversee best practices for physical security Help the organisation to maintain and manage applicable compliances eg. ISO 27001, SOC2 etc. Provide technical guidance and training to team members. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to optimize business operations. Requirements B.E.\ B. Tech\ M.E.\ M. Tech candidates entries in fields related to Computers or Information Technology are preferred. 8+ years of significant prior experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash). Solid understanding of backup solutions, disaster recovery, and high-availability systems.
