We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Accountant and Tax Manager to lead our financial operations across India and global offices . This individual will be responsible for managing taxation, compliance, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning in alignment with global fintech regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Indian and international accounting standards, with hands-on experience in managing cross-border financial compliance, audits, and investor relations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Leadership & Compliance Enforce robust financial controls and develop accounting policies and procedures to ensure strict compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across India and international jurisdictions. Provide comprehensive financial oversight for major operating activities, including budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning, and business/profit plan development. Monitor and analyze cash flow statements to ensure healthy liquidity across business units. Accounting & Taxation Lead the review and finalization of financial statements, statutory accounts, and audit processes for both India and global entities. Oversee domestic and international taxation (Direct and Indirect Taxes) including Service Tax, VAT, GST (including GST implementation and transition), and Income Tax. Ensure accurate filing of returns and reporting obligations including RBI – foreign assets and liabilities (FLA), refund claims, and transfer pricing documentation. Develop and implement ERP-integrated GST compliance programs and perform “As-Is” impact analyses for new tax regimes. Global Financial Strategy & Structuring Draft and execute business restructuring plans to enable compliant operations for Digital Asset Exchanges in India and globally. Provide strategic support in registering under global regulations such as the Payment Services Act (PSA) Advise founders on group restructuring, cross-border compliance, and financial due diligence, ensuring alignment with global AML, CFT, and PDPA standards. Investor & Stakeholder Management Present financial insights to the board, investors, and key stakeholders, offering strategic advice on profitability, risk, and compliance. Maintain strong investor relations by ensuring transparent financial communication and timely reporting. International Operations & Controls Manage billing, credit control, and reconciliation processes for international offices including Portfolio Management Services (PMS) fees and inter-company transactions. Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and ensure systems are fraud-proof and audit-ready. Key Requirements: Education: CA / CPA / MBA in Finance / Equivalent qualification Experience: 5-6 years in accounting and tax management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role in a Fintech/Crypto or cross-border business environment Strong working knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and global tax regulations Experience in dealing with regulators like RBI, SEBI, GST Council , and international authorities (e.g., MAS, DFSA) Hands-on expertise with ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks) Experience with investor reporting and board-level financial presentations Preferred Skills: Prior exposure to the Digital Currency industry regulations Strategic thinker with strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills Sound understanding of AML/CFT/PDPA frameworks and their application in digital finance Ability to manage multiple jurisdictions and navigate complex regulatory environments Compensation: Competitive, based on experience Reporting to: CFO / Founders / Board of Directors How to apply: send me your updated resume at Hr@troandoit.in or +919599383886 Show more Show less
