The Senior Technical Analyst is responsible for providing expert-level technical support, analysis, and solutions across various IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, managing complex technical issues, and ensuring the seamless functioning of critical business systems. The Senior Technical Analyst will also mentor junior analysts, lead technical projects, and work on the implementation of new technologies and tools. Key Responsibilities: Technical Analysis & Problem Solving: Perform in-depth analysis of existing systems and technologies to identify areas of improvement or potential issues. Troubleshoot complex technical problems and provide effective solutions within set timelines. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring technical issues. System Implementation & Optimization: Lead and contribute to the implementation, configuration, and optimization of new software and hardware systems. Analyze and recommend improvements to current system processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability. Evaluate new technologies and assess their potential impact on existing systems. Project Management: Act as a technical lead on various IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with business requirements. Create and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and system designs. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Mentoring & Leadership: Mentor junior technical analysts and provide guidance on best practices, troubleshooting, and solution design. Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and improve performance. Support and review the work of junior analysts, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with business users, management, and other technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, system health, and incident resolution. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, technical solutions, and troubleshooting steps. Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders. Ensure that all technical activities and issues are properly logged and tracked in incident management systems. Security & Compliance: Ensure systems comply with internal and external security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Implement and monitor security measures for protecting sensitive data and critical systems. Participate in security audits and assist in remediation of any identified vulnerabilities. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in IT or technical support, with a focus on systems analysis, technical troubleshooting, and project delivery. Proven experience working with enterprise-level systems and technologies. Strong explore in Banking domain applications. Strong experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Cloud services) and on-premises infrastructure. Experience in scripting/programming languages (e.g., SQL Server, Integration services) is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in systems architecture, databases (SQL), and enterprise applications. Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines and Github source control. Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is desirable. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in relevant areas, such as Azure, or other cloud-related certifications. Experience with automation and orchestration tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies or project management frameworks. Working Conditions: Full-time position with the possibility of occasional after-hours support depending on project needs or critical system issues.
