For more insights of the company, kindly visit our website https://www.axismyindia.org/ Purpose of the Function The Senior Technical Project/Delivery Manager having full stack development experience will be responsible for the end-to-end project execution and delivery of the in-house application suite. This role requires a seasoned leader with strong technical expertise with hands-on experience in Java and related technologies, coupled with proven project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. The manager will oversee a team of 15+ developers and will be responsible for the development of a native Android application. This role demands a deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from solution architecture and design to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance and taking ownership of all the software designed, developed and hosted in house. The successful candidate will manage the development and integration of various technologies, including Java, Power BI, MySQL, and Apache Tomcat (on Linux and Windows), for in-house applications. A key aspect of this role is ensuring that projects adhere to best practices, meet stringent quality standards, and align with the company's strategic objectives. Tech in Computer Science or related field Experience: 10+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years in a technical leadership/project management role Strong hands-on experience in Java technology and full-stack development Proven experience with Power BI and MySQL Experience in managing and leading a team of at least 15+ developers Experience in native Android application development Requirements & Skills Technical Proficiency: Java Full Stack Development: Expertise in Java, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and related technologies. Database Management: Proficient in MySQL database design, development, and optimization. Business Intelligence: Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting. Application Server: Strong understanding of Apache Tomcat for in-house application deployment and configuration. Android Development: Experience in managing the development of native Android applications. Project Management & Delivery Excellence: End-to-end project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Strong understanding of both Agile and traditional project management methodologies. Ability to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria. Skill in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets. Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks. Experience in managing project resources, including developers, testers, and analysts. Ability to track and report on project progress, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Experience in managing and tracking project KPIs. Procurement and vendor management experience. Team Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of technical professionals. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving. Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience in conducting team meetings, performance reviews, and skill development planning. Requirements Roles & Responsibilities Project Execution and Delivery: Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for in-house application development, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality solutions. Oversee the development of a native Android application, ensuring its integration with the overall application ecosystem. Ensure seamless integration of various technologies, including Java, Power BI, MySQL, and Tomcat. Manage and coordinate the activities of the in-house development team of 15+ people. Technical Leadership and Guidance: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Drive the implementation of robust and scalable solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. Manage relationships with vendors and external partners as needed. Project Planning and Tracking: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Track project progress against milestones and deliverables. Identify and manage project dependencies and constraints. Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Ensure the quality of deliverables through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential disruptions. Implement and enforce secure development practices. Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance development efficiency and productivity.
