Role Overview We are hiring a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that makes our products easy to understand and adopt by developers, end-users, and enterprise clients. This is a full-time role based in Gurugram, India , ideal for candidates who enjoy translating complex technical concepts into elegant, usable content. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, design, and DevOps teams to document APIs, architecture, product features, AI capabilities, and platform workflows. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain developer documentation , API references , integration guides , and release notes Document platform features , user journeys , and AI-enabled workflows in a structured, engaging manner Standardize and maintain internal documentation libraries (Confluence, Notion, or Markdown repos) Work with UX teams to design help content, onboarding tutorials, and in-app documentation Translate requirements from architects, engineers, and product managers into user-facing documentation Establish content strategy, style guides, and documentation standards across teams Support compliance teams by documenting security and data governance policies when needed Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Computer Science, or related field 3+ years of experience in technical writing for software, SaaS, or developer tools Experience creating technical documentation for REST APIs , SDKs , and integration workflows Strong command of Markdown , HTML/CSS , and basic knowledge of version control (Git) Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience writing for AI/ML platforms , SaaS products , or enterprise dashboards Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger , Postman , or API Blueprint Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies Understanding of information architecture , accessibility, and user-focused content design Experience using tools like Docusaurus , ReadMe , Slate , or Sphinx Core Competencies Technical Accuracy and Clarity User-Centered Content Design Documentation Architecture & Organization Detail-Oriented Research & Content Structuring Cross-Team Collaboration & Editorial Feedback Tools & Platforms Documentation Tools: Markdown, Confluence, Notion, GitBook, Docusaurus API Docs: Swagger / OpenAPI, Postman, Stoplight Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab Publishing & Build Tools: Sphinx, MkDocs, Pandoc Design & Review: Figma (read-only for handoff), Grammarly, Hemingway Project Management: Jira, Slack, ClickUp, Trello Why Join TwoSD?
