Job Description

We are looking for a Sr Test Analyst with outstanding track record in the field of software quality assurance. The successful candidate would be an expert in Software Quality Assurance and can carry out all the Quality Assurance related tasks confidently with minimal supervision. You will play a key role in the end-to-end testing process , from requirement analysis to test execution and defect management. Your expertise in manual testing will contribute to delivering a seamless and engaging user experience for customers using the mobile app for booking, managing travel plans, and accessing essential travel services. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and automation testers to validate functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Additionally, you will participate in sprint planning, regression testing, exploratory testing, and UAT support, identifying potential risks and areas for improvement. This role requires a strong understanding of mobile testing best practices , knowledge of iOS and Android platforms , and experience in API testing, accessibility testing, and cross-device compatibility testing . You will also contribute to test strategy refinement, documentation, and mentoring junior testers to maintain high testing standards across the team. Roles and Responsibilities You will have deep involvement in each phase of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) Acquire detailed product knowledge from functional, business, and architectural standpoints and Define test scope, objectives, and coverage for iOS and Android mobile applications. Identify and mitigate testing risks, ensuring test activities align with business goals. You will be responsible for thorough testing of all the assigned tasks/user stories, achieving your own targets and supporting other team members in achieving overall team commitment You will be very hands-on analysing requirements, providing estimations, designing and executing test scripts, and providing detailed insights to various stakeholders through detailed reporting A thorough review of test cases, bugs and other artefacts created by the team members/peers You will take pride in ensuring all the quality assurance objectives are achieved before delivering the product You will work closely with your colleagues in the UK, actively participate in earlier phases of the scrum and propose a plan of action to achieve the desired outcome Create robust Test cases along with comprehensive test data covering positive, negative scenarios and non-functional dependencies such as infra, config related aspects for on multiple devices, operating systems, and screen sizes. Provide useful insights to Test Lead in creating Test Plan, Capacity Plan, and Test Strategy While working on a ground level, identify a risk, if any related to delivery, resources, processes etc. and highlight it to the right channel. Assist business stakeholders and product owners during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) . Execute manual regression testing to validate existing functionality before releases. Validate app stability across different OS versions and device models before deployment.
