About the role: As a UX Designer on the GTMS team, you will be a key player in designing intuitive and efficient user experiences within our Salesforce ecosystem, supporting the entire sales process from lead generation to renewals. Together with Development, Product Management, and Sales, you will research new opportunities, create new user experiences and prototypes, and be a key member of the GTMS team at Samsara helping create user-centric designs that drive business outcomes. In this role, you will: Conduct user research to understand the needs and pain points of sales and operations teams. Develop user personas and journey maps to inform design decisions. Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using various tools including using AI for real time prototyping to drive faster decision making. Design user interfaces that align with Salesforce's framework Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with business goals. Participate in agile development processes, providing design input during sprint planning and reviews. Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs. Monitor user engagement and other key business metrics to make data-driven improvements to the user experience. Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices Minimum requirements for the role: You have at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, or corresponding level of relevant education You have 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within a Salesforce or enterprise SaaS environment. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. You can translate Design Specs into requirements to hand off to developers. An ideal candidate also has: Experience with AI tools for user journey mapping and process automation. Strong analytical skills to interpret user data and inform design decisions.
