PurposeThe Manager, Anaplan Model Development is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimisation of Anaplan-based business planning solutions across the enterprise. This role ensures alignment with organisational objectives, drives efficiency, and enhances decision-making.Leading a team of Anaplan model builders, the role oversees solutions for workforce planning, financial modelling, property lease modelling, and other emerging use cases. It also plays a key role in integrating Anaplan with Databricks, ensuring seamless data flow and automation.This role will collaborate with counterparts in Australia to establish a global best practice Centre of Excellence, driving consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement. As a Manager, Workforce Solution Design, you will:Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the Anaplan strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.Solution Delivery & Integration: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of Anaplan models, addressing blockers and ensuring effective integration with source system.Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Anaplan model builders.Business Engagement: Build strong relationships to understand business needs and drive effective solutions.Workforce Planning Expertise: Develop knowledge of workforce management processes and systems, including Aspect and Control IQ.Governance & Risk: Enforce data integrity, security, and governance standards, ensuring compliance with organisational risk frameworks.Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of innovation and process optimisation.Industry Awareness: Stay updated on Anaplan and Databricks developments to leverage best practices. Experience:Leadership experience in managing Anaplan model builders.Proven expertise in Anaplan solution design for business planning. With Solution Architect qualification preferred.Strong understanding of Anaplan and data integration methodologies.Experience in workforce planning processes and systems (Aspect, Control IQ).Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Process analysis and improvement Proven experience leading project delivery using the “Anaplan Way” approach to Agile delivery Qualification Requirements:Certified Anaplan model builder (minimum requirement).Solution Architect preferredAgile/SCRUM qualification (advantageous)Tertiary qualified with a degree in Business and preferably with post graduate qualifications Essential capabilities:Experienced Anaplan model builder/solution architectLeadership acumenEffective communicationProcess ImprovementChange managementPipeline management and resource allocation, with an understanding of hybrid agile methodologiesContinuous learning mindsetRisk awareness and governanceOther capabilities:Knowledge of other database languages would be advantageous e.g. SQL
