About the job: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development, performance optimization, and security best practices. You will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality WordPress websites, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of scalable and maintainable solutions. Key responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins. 2. Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility. 3. Optimize WordPress websites for performance, scalability, and security. 4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress. 5. Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress websites & . 6. Build and manage custom post types, taxonomies, and advanced custom fields. 7. Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects. 8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. 9. Mentor junior developers and share best practices. 10. Optimize website speed and performance through caching, CDN integration, and database optimization. 11. Conduct regular website audits to identify and fix performance bottlenecks. 12. Implement security best practices to protect WordPress websites from vulnerabilities. 13. Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins to ensure the latest security patches are applied. 14. Create and maintain technical documentation for WordPress projects. 15. Document code and processes to ensure maintainability and scalability. 16. Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies. 17. Recommend and implement improvements to existing processes and workflows. Requirements: 1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2. Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in WordPress development. 3. Strong understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins. 4. Experience with REST API and third-party integrations. 5. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). 6. Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques. 7. Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) is a plus. 8. Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce solutions is a plus. Benefits: 1.
