Position: Senior/Lead Piping Designer- POWER Work Location: Bangalore, India Education: Diploma/BE Experience: 5+ Years of Experience Roles and Responsibilities: Strong background in power plant projects (conventional or renewable). Excellent understanding of piping materials, insulation, pipe supports, and fabrication methods. Lead and manage piping design activities for power plant projects including thermal, combined cycle, and renewable power installations. Develop and review piping layouts, general arrangement drawings, isometrics, and support designs using software such as Plant 3D, CADWORX or E3D. Ensure design compliance with applicable codes (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.), client specifications, and industry best practices. Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams to ensure smooth integration of piping systems. Manage design deliverables and ensure timely completion of design packages. Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, and HAZOP meetings. Mentor junior designers and drafters and review their work for accuracy and completeness. Interface with project management, procurement, and construction teams to resolve design issues and support project execution. Ability to work across global teams and manage multiple project interfaces. Tools Required: AutoCAD Plant 3D or Cadworx or E3D or SP3D.
