Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented SEO Interns to join our growing digital team at ShopLC.com. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment while learning the core fundamentals of SEO from a team of experts. As an SEO Intern, you’ll support the SEO team in implementing best practices to help increase organic visibility, drive traffic, and improve website performance across major search engines. You will work closely with experienced SEO professionals and cross-functional teams, gaining real-world exposure to technical SEO, content optimization, keyword research, and analytics. Key Responsibilities: Assist in conducting keyword research for ecommerce categories, products, and content optimization. Support on-page SEO activities including meta tags, headings, image alt text, and internal linking. Help in performing regular website audits to identify SEO opportunities and technical issues. Work with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog to gather performance insights. Monitor and fix critical website issues such as broken links, 404 errors, and schema data problems. Support the implementation and validation of structured data and schema markup. Assist in compiling weekly/monthly SEO performance reports and presentations with key metrics and insights. Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, tools, and Google algorithm updates. Monitor and analyze website traffic and user behavior using tools like Google Analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content, development, and UX to ensure SEO best practices are followed. Support backlink outreach efforts by identifying link-building opportunities, researching prospects, and helping coordinate outreach campaigns.
