Service Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot VFDs to identify and resolve malfunctions and performance issues. Repair and calibrate HMIs to ensure optimal functionality and user interface. Conduct component-level repairs for AC and DC electronic components, including identifying and replacing faulty components. Repair and test PCBs, addressing issues related to soldering, circuit faults, and component failures. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to analyze and rectify electrical and electronic issues. Document repair processes and maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used. Provide technical support and guidance to clients or internal teams as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all repair activities. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in repairing VFDs, HMIs, AC and DC components, and PCBs. Experience with various brands and models of VFDs and HMIs. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies in electronics repair. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills for reporting issues and interacting with clients or team members. Certification or training in relevant areas is a plus.
