Role & responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN) and Sodium Cyanide (NaCN) plants, ensuring efficient, safe, and consistent production. Ensure smooth production operations and maximum product uptime, minimizing any production downtime. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel. Monitor and enforce quality control standards across all operations to meet product specifications and regulatory requirements. Take immediate corrective actions to address any unsafe practices or operational issues, ensuring a proactive approach to safety and quality. Review production schedules and ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and personnel are prepared for the days operations. Oversee the generation and disposal of hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations. Ensure proper recycling or disposal methods are followed, minimizing the environmental impact of plant operations. Conduct regular inspections of the plant to evaluate housekeeping practices and overall cleanliness. Address any deficiencies identified during inspections and implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to plant cleanliness and safety standards. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the operation of Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN) and Sodium Cyanide (NaCN) plants is MUST. Perks and benefits As per company norms.
