Primary Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition for Sales Team: Sourcing and Screening Candidates: Identify and attract qualified candidates for sales positions with an understanding of freight brokerage and logistics, especially in relation to services between India and the USA. Sales Team Recruitment: Ensure that candidates have a foundational understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, and related services, with a specific focus on sales roles. End-to-End Recruitment Process: Job Descriptions & Specifications: Work closely with the sales team to create clear and accurate job descriptions for sales roles within the logistics and freight brokerage industry. Screening & Interviewing: Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidates experience and skills relevant to the sales function in logistics, focusing on knowledge of US-based operations. Offer Management: Coordinate the final stages of recruitment, including offer discussions and negotiations. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaboration with Sales Leadership: Work with the sales management team to understand their needs for sales talent and ensure that the recruitment process aligns with the teams goals. Onboarding & Integration: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they understand the company’s values and the logistics services we provide. Ongoing Feedback: Gather feedback from hiring managers to ensure a smooth integration of new hires into the sales team and make improvements to recruitment practices as needed. Talent Pool Development: Building a Talent Pipeline: Develop a pool of qualified candidates for future sales openings by maintaining relationships with potential hires and keeping an active recruitment network. Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, and competitor hiring practices, and the talent market, especially as it relates to sales in the logistics and freight forwarding sectors. Candidate Experience: Clear Communication: Ensure that candidates are informed and updated at every step of the recruitment process to maintain a positive candidate experience. Cultural Fit: Evaluate candidates not only for technical competence but also for cultural alignment with the company’s values and goals. Compliance and Documentation: Local Labor Law Compliance: Ensure that all recruitment practices adhere to Indian labor laws and any relevant regulations. Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of recruitment processes, including resumes, interview notes, and hiring decisions. Key Skills and Qualifications:Experience in Logistics or Freight Brokerage: A general understanding of logistics, transportation, and freight brokerage processes, especially those relevant to international shipments (India to USA). Sales Recruitment Experience: Proven ability to recruit for sales roles, ideally within the logistics, transportation, or related industries. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with candidates and internal teams effectively. End-to-End Recruitment Experience: Comfort with all stages of recruitment, from sourcing to offer negotiation. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to drive recruitment efforts independently. Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to understand and adapt to the cultural dynamics between India and the USA, especially in a professional context.
