Job Purpose:Planning engineers help engineering teams deliver projects on schedule. They develop strategies, determine material and labour costs, monitor crew performance, ensure health and safety regulations are obeyed, and that communications channels are open.Role And Responsibilities:Understanding new tender documents, specifications and designDevelop the planning sheet on the basis of tender analysisPreparing detailed schedule of the developed planning in MS project covering the entire scope and within defined timelinesCalculating Optimal Material requirement, Manpower Requirement (of various trades) & Machinery RequirementCoordinate with various departments like Engineering (who provides working drawings), Procurement (who buys materials), Contracts (who awards contracts & raise any issues with the client), quality (who maintains ) & Commissioning Departments.Supporting the Project Manager and Project team with information to execute the project in time and within the budget allocated. This information will be used by Project Managers in taking decisions for the smooth execution of the project.Observing planning processes, analysing manpower and deriving material requisitionCreating cash flow for the project , and preparing budget for the entire project workPlanning and detailing the activities involved in the project, fitting those in the timelines, calculating the materials, manpower, and machinery required to execute these activities in the time frame decidedTaking follow up from the management about the project initiationMonitoring and tracking project progress and taking regular reports from project head and make sure it is followed as per the timeline.Recommend appropriate improvements and ensure optimal quality of all project schedules and evaluate reports.Attending and scheduling meetings as required to.Delegating tasks and ensuring workers receive feedback.Understanding and meeting all contract requirements.Communicating with managers, supervisors, and the rest of the team.Taking accountability of the entire project work from initiation to completionEnsuring all projects are completed on time and within budgets.ERP data ManagementFilling up proxy if someone is absent.Reporting to the superiorAny other work given by the top managementCommunications and Relationships:Internal: Directors, EmployeesExternal: Vendor, Labor Contractor, clientsKnowledge, Training And Experience Required For JobEducation - M-techExperience - 6+Skills Proficiency in MS Office.Planning and project management skills.Strong multitasking abilities.A valid driver's license.Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills.A sound understanding of safety protocols.Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines.Qualification- Civil Bachelors or Masters, NICMAR
