We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded R&D Engineer with expertise in embedded systems and PCB design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded hardware and software for innovative applications. This role requires deep knowledge of firmware development, hardware integration, PCB design, and system debugging to drive cutting-edge product development.Key Responsibilities:Embedded Systems Development:Design, develop, and test embedded systems, including firmware and hardware integration.Develop and optimize real-time software for microcontrollers, processors, and IoT devices.Implement and optimize communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, MQTT, and Bluetooth.Optimize power consumption, memory usage, and system performance for embedded applications.Debug and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debugging tools.PCB Design & Hardware Development:Design schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or OrCAD.Perform component selection, circuit design, and simulation to ensure optimal performance.Develop multi-layer PCBs with high-speed signals, RF, power management, and mixed-signal circuits.Design high-power, low-noise, and EMI-compliant circuits for industrial and consumer applications.Ensure signal integrity, thermal management, and reliability in PCB designs.Work closely with fabrication and assembly teams for DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly).Perform hardware testing, validation, and debugging of PCB prototypes before production.Research & Innovation:Conduct research on emerging embedded technologies and propose innovative solutions.Explore new microcontroller architectures, wireless communication standards, and AI/ML applications in embedded systems.Stay updated on industry trends, PCB design advancements, and embedded security techniques.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and mechanical designers to develop complete embedded solutions.Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production and cost optimization.Develop technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.2+ years of experience in embedded system design and PCB development.Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or embedded Linux development.Experience with microcontrollers ( ESP32 or ARM Cortex, STM32, etc.) and RTOS.Strong understanding of digital/analog electronics, circuit design, and PCB layout principles.Hands-on experience with debugging tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, Zigbee, NFC, RFID).Knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly processes, and industry standards (IPC-2221, IPC-7351, etc.).Experience in EMI/EMC testing and compliance for embedded systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.Preferred Experience:Experience with embedded security techniques and cryptographic protocols.Hands-on experience with cloud-connected IoT devices.Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Flexible working environment with opportunities for remote work.Exposure to cutting-edge R&D projects in embedded systems, IoT, and PCB design.Professional growth and training program
