Job Title: Site Engineer (Aluminium Formwork) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminium Formwork Site Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of aluminium formwork systems at construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in formwork operations, adhering to project specifications and timelines. Key Responsibilities: Site Supervision and Management: Oversee and manage the installation, dismantling, and maintenance of aluminium formwork systems. Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, project plans, and technical specifications. Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Technical Expertise: Interpret construction drawings and provide technical guidance to the site team. Conduct inspections to ensure proper alignment, leveling, and dimensions of formwork structures. Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain project timelines. Quality Control: Monitor formwork quality to ensure adherence to safety and structural standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and consultants to ensure project objectives are met. Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, highlighting work completed, delays, and solutions. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and site regulations. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for the workforce. Material and Resource Management: Estimate and manage material requirements for formwork installation. Optimize resource allocation to ensure cost-effective project delivery. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven experience (1+ years) in aluminium formwork systems or construction site management. Strong understanding of formwork design, assembly, and dismantling processes. Proficient in reading technical drawings and construction plans. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Work Environment: Site-based role requiring extended hours and the ability to work in challenging conditions. Flexibility to work weekends or evenings, if needed.
