Position: Site Engineer (Geotechnical) Department: Engineering & Execution Department Reports To: Project Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer with expertise in earthwork and geotechnical engineering to join our real estate development team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing site activities, ensuring the quality and stability of soil and foundation work, and coordinating with project stakeholders to deliver high-standard construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage site activities related to earthwork, excavation, grading, compaction, and soil stabilization. Conduct geotechnical investigations and analyze soil reports. Ensure compliance with geotechnical and structural design specifications and industry standards. Oversee the implementation of ground improvement techniques and soil testing procedures. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and surveyors to ensure smooth execution of geotechnical work. Monitor and maintain site safety and environmental compliance as per regulatory standards. Inspect and validate material quality, including soil, aggregates, and fill materials, ensuring they meet project specifications. Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress documentation, and quality assurance records. Provide technical guidance to site teams and resolve geotechnical challenges during construction. Collaborate with the design and project management teams to optimize construction methodologies. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. 5 to 10 Years of experience in site engineering, with a focus on earthwork operations in the real estate/construction industry. Hands-on experience with soil testing, ground improvement techniques, and foundation design. Familiarity with geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, STADD Pro, AutoCAD) is a plus. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, codes, and regulations related to geotechnical engineering. Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and attention to detail.
