Site Safety Engineer

Job Description

We’re looking for a sharp and proactive HSE Engineer / Incharge who can take ownership of all safety-related aspects at our project/factory sites. Current site is HINDALCO Sambalpur Plant. The ideal candidate is someone who not only ensures compliance but actively drives a culture of safety from the ground up. Responsibilities: Implement and enforce safety policies across the site/project Conduct Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Prepare and maintain all required safety documentation (risk analysis, PTW, safety audits, incident reports, etc.) Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for staff and workers Ensure adherence to statutory safety norms and liaise with government authorities when needed Investigate incidents and take corrective/preventive action Monitor site activities to ensure safe work practices are followed Requirements: B.Tech / B.E degree (mandatory) Minimum 4-5 years’ experience as an HSE / Safety Engineer in a similar industry Sound knowledge of basic safety documentation and EHS protocols Familiarity with safety audits, fire prevention, hazard control, and emergency response Strong communication and leadership skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Application Question(s): Do you have any qualifications in the area of Safety?
