Key Responsibilities: Facial Treatments : Performing facials, including deep cleansing, exfoliating, and hydrating treatments to address skin concerns like acne, dryness, and aging. Hair Removal : Offering services such as waxing, threading, or laser hair removal to remove unwanted body or facial hair. Skin Analysis : Analyzing clients' skin type and condition to recommend appropriate treatments or products. Massage and Relaxation : Providing facial massages or full-body treatments to promote relaxation and improve skin circulation. Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion : Administering advanced treatments like chemical peels or microdermabrasion to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. Product Recommendations : Advising clients on suitable skincare products, routines, and techniques to maintain healthy skin. Client Education : Educating clients on the importance of skincare, sun protection, and how lifestyle factors affect skin health. Sanitation and Hygiene : Ensuring that all tools, equipment, and treatment areas are properly sanitized to meet health and safety standards. Administrative Duties : Managing client bookings, maintaining treatment records, and tracking client progress over time. Skills and Qualifications: Certified Esthetician : Most positions require a state license or certification, which involves completing a recognized esthetician program. Knowledge of Skin Care : A strong understanding of skin anatomy, products, and treatments. Customer Service : Excellent communication skills to assess client needs and provide a personalized experience. Attention to Detail : Precision in performing treatments and selecting products for individual clients. Manual Dexterity : Ability to perform hands-on treatments such as massage or applying products efficiently and safely.
