Job Description:The State Head is responsible for managing the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) rooftop portfolio and ensuring efficient and reliable operations across all sites. The role demands strategic leadership, proactive stakeholder engagement, and effective team management to drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:1. Operations & Maintenance (O&M) OversightEnsure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are executed as per schedule.Monitor plant performance, analyze data, and take proactive measures to optimize efficiency.Implement best practices to minimize downtime and maximize generation output.2. Leadership & Team ManagementLead and manage the O&M team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules.Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to team members.Foster a culture of teamwork ,accountability, and continuous improvement.3. Customer & Stakeholder ManagementMaintain regular interaction with customers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.Provide timely updates and reports on plant performance, maintenance activities, and resolution of issues.Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.4. Reporting & CoordinationPrepare and submit periodic reports to headquarter, highlighting key operational metrics, challenges, and action plans.Coordinate with senior management to align O&M strategies with organizational goals.5. Vendor & Resource ManagementManage vendor relationships and ensure timely procurement of spare parts and services.Negotiate contracts and service agreements to optimize costs and quality.Plan and mobilize resources effectively to meet operational demands.Key Skills & Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical) or a related field.Experience: 4 to 6 years experience in solar O&M, power plant operations, or renewable energy sector.Technical Skills: Knowledge of solar plant operations, SCADA monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship management skills.Other Requirements: Willingness to travel and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
