Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer Work Mode On-site Location: India Role Responsibilities Design and implement robust data pipelines using Snowflake. Develop and maintain ETL processes to manage data flow. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and manage expectations. Create and optimize data models for high-performance data access. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation. Work closely with data scientists and analysts to deliver actionable insights. Develop and maintain documentation related to data engineering processes. Implement best practices for data security and compliance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Utilize cloud technologies to enhance data processing capabilities. Continuously improve existing ETL processes for efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Assist in capacity planning and performance tuning for databases. Provide support and troubleshoot data-related issues as they arise. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Engineer, particularly with Snowflake. Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling techniques. Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data integration methodologies. Proficient in programming languages such as Python. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark). Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience in working with data visualization tools is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Understanding of data governance and security policies. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
