Software Developer Location: Jaipur, India We are looking for a Software Developer to join our Jaipur office team. This role plays a key part in developing the Valamis learning platform , ensuring it remains stable, high-performing, and secure while evolving to meet user needs. At Valamis we have a great variety of customers from Procter & Gamble to Amadeus and Lightsource BP. As Software Developer you will: Develop, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient backend microservices using Python and FastAPI . Work with Kafka to build real-time, distributed data processing systems. Design and optimize relational databases for performance, scalability, and reliability. Integrate and manage Elasticsearch to provide high-performance search and analytics capabilities. Collaborate in the design and development of microservice architectures , ensuring high availability and fault tolerance. Collaborate with the Software development team and QA team, designers and product manager. What are we looking for in our new colleague? Technical Skills 2-3 years of hands-on experience in software development using Python, FastAPI. Experience with Kafka for implementing event-driven architectures. Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL. Familiarity with Elasticsearch and its use for search and indexing. Ability to write well-designed, testable, and efficient code. Understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems design. Soft Skills Team player and a responsible team member. Good communication and collaboration skills. Fluent spoken and written English skills. It will be advantage if You have Knowledge of Kubernetes, Redis, click house. You have working experience from an Agile development environment. We support you in your development in many ways.
