In the Customer hub team, together, we will design and develop a customer-facing portal that offers a smooth experience. This portal will highlight various MGT products such as Payments, Identities, Directory, Forge, and Analytics. we're looking for outstanding engineers with a passion for technology and the ability to work with a team with varied strengths. The Software Engineer will play a key role as part of the Mobile Game Tech Organization, focusing on advanced technology developments to build, improve and maintain next-gen tech solutions for our games. What you'll Do : Develop and maintain new and existing features and improvements to web and backend services used by mobile and web clients. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to build a streamlined customer experience. Take a hands-on approach in writing and reviewing code. Proactively identify & recommend improvements to address systemic problems and tech debt. Follow engineering standard methodologies to ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate effectively with teammates, contributing to an innovative environment of technical excellence. Review detailed tech plans from others, aligning with the team, and Zynga-wide technical vision. Provide production & integration support for shared technology across Zynga games. What You Bring : Bachelor or equivalent degree in Computer Science. 2+ years of hands-on software development experience. A proven foundation in software programming, with strong proficiencies in data structures and algorithms is required. Experience programming with web development using ReactJS, TypeScript and React-based frameworks. Experience in HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as CSSinJS or Tailwind CSS. Experience programming RESTful services using Java/Golang/Python etc Experience in object-oriented design of applications/systems. Experience with DevOps, cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes in AWS is a plus. Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) is a plus. Good understanding of algorithms, design patterns, debugging and performance optimization. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools. Excellent ability to work efficiently with teammates and independently. Excellent interpersonal skills - particularly the ability to discuss timelines, design concerns, work with distributed teams, and provide effective feedback to team members
