Job Purpose We are looking for a team player with strong skills in software development. As a Senior Software Developer at Quorum, you would be responsible for developing the various products in the Planning, Economics, and Reserves suite. You will join and immediately contribute on the team that supports one of Quorum’s market leading enterprise applications. What You Will Do Research, understand, and perform a variety of activities spanning the full lifecycle of software development:Develop solutions in code independently and with a high degree of quality and completenessExecute and support advanced technical tasks such as load testing or performance tuningTroubleshoot complex problems across systems, resolve defects, and perform root cause analysisHave a understanding of CI/CD pipelines and other deployment toolsDemonstrate a solid understanding of software development methodologies and how they apply to your teamRecommend improvements and evangelize new concepts, practices, or procedures that can increase quality and efficiencyAnd other duties as assigned. What To Bring 4 – 6 years of application development with development, implementation, and support experience, including the following:.NetC#SQLRest APIExperience with Visual Studio and GitA working understanding of build and release automation, preferably with Azure DevOpsExcellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and .Net frameworkExperience in creating reusable libraries in C#Ability to troubleshoot and isolate/solve complex bugs, connectivity issues, or OS related issuesAbility to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures in Oracle and/or MS SQLUnderstanding of basic steps of an Agile SDLCExcellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated accountability and ownership of assigned tasksBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher-level education equivalent Nice To Have Knowledge of Agile, Test-Driven DevelopmentEnterprise software experience Additional Details Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in India is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
