Job Description Summary: Responsible for coding, unit testing, building high performance and scalable applications that meet the needs of millions of Walmart customers, in the areas of Online Pickup and Delivery; Customer experience. What you'll do... About Team: In Walmart Global Tech, Global Integrated Fulfilment(GIF) is a premier store fulfilment one-stop solution to help Walmart stores fulfil all their store operations including picking, staging, dispensing etc for an order. This business closely partners with our U.S. and international store business to serve customers by empowering associates and stores with technology innovation. What you will do: Perform quality assurance testing for large-scale, commerce applications, tools, and/or software. Support continuous integration process improvement and innovation Support faster releases by efficient automation strategies Write test plans and test cases. Write test cases for Mobile Apps & API's. Logs verification – backend and frontend. Raise defects, triage and get it resolved in a timely manner Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for improved software development lifecycle. Troubleshoot critical defects and identify root cause What you will bring: Strong expertise of coding and programming skills in Java Experience with automation design, scripting, and execution Strong understanding of quality, testing principles and writing effective test cases. Expertise on atleast one out of Backend automation and Mobile app automation. Experience in performing API functional testing and backend automation using Rest Assured OR Experience in Mobile App testing and app Automation on atleast one platform - iOS / Android using Appium Knowledge on unit test frameworks such as Junit, TestNG Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Working knowledge on testing Kafka based applications is a plus Expertise in building Test Automation Frameworks using Appium, Selenium, TestNG or API / Webservices Automation in Java Experience in Continuous integration process implementation by building CI / CD Pipeline using Jenkins and Integrate with Maven About Walmart Global Tech Imagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
