Software Engineer in Test

Job Description

Our Software Engineers in Test are embedded alongside developers, using our latest in-house automation framework in Java to create reliable and comprehensive automation tests. Teams rely on flexible but standardized processes to ensure test coverage, feature quality, and regression checks. What you will do: Execute both white- and black-box testing . Developing, executing, and maintaining automation test scripts to meet software release deliverables, project testing requirements, and other quality considerations. Working to minimize manual testing by identifying high-ROI test cases and automating them. Being an integral part of an Agile Engineering team, working interactively with software engineers, testing engineers, and product managers for the full development life cycle . Helping to ensure functionality delivered in each sprint is well tested, utilizing automation wherever possible . Developing smoke, functional, regression, and integration test suites for GUI front-end, API Services and Database backend . Recommending strategies and methods to improve test plans and test processes . What you bring : Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience. 2-4 years of professional experience working in a software development environment . Knowledge on Automation tools and scripting. Knowledge of test automation frameworks ( e.g., Cucumber, RestAssured , TestNG , Katalon Studio, Cypress or similar) . Experience in programming with one or more of the following languages Java, JavaScript. Working with relation databases ( Oracle, PostgreSQL , MySQL or similar) . Strong experience with distributed source code control systems, like Git. Familiarity with SDLC practices of Agile (Lean, Scrum, XP or similar) . Experience working with Devops tools like Ansible, Jenkins and practices like continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familia rity with enterprise architecture and SOA best practices . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Great team player and collaborates well with Onshore/ O ffshore team s . Working knowledge of Linux a plus. Experience working with WebLogic or Tomcat or Sprin g Boot application is a plus. Experience in Healthcare domain a plus .
