Role Description We’re looking for a Remote Software Engineer Intern (Next.js & Tailwind CSS) to help us build and improve the Docable platform. This is a hands-on, remote internship ideal for students who want to work on production-grade software, learn by doing, and see how early-stage products come to life. You’ll work on building fast, responsive UI components and collaborate directly with the founder on everything from idea to implementation. What You’ll Do Build user interfaces with Next.js and Tailwind CSS Convert designs and wireframes into clean, reusable components Help improve performance, responsiveness, and usability Participate in feature discussions, planning, and reviews Learn and grow in a fast-paced, startup environment Requirements Student currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related degree program Familiarity with JavaScript and front-end fundamentals Some experience with React , Next.js , and Tailwind CSS — we would love to see your personal projects, regardless of the tech stack Open-source contributions or any self-initiated projects are a big plus Comfortable working independently and asking questions when stuck Eagerness to learn and contribute to a real-world product Note : If you’re asked about years of experience during the application process, don’t worry — we don’t require professional experience. We consider personal projects, self-taught skills, and open-source work just as valuable. Nice to Have A GitHub profile or portfolio with good projects Experience using Git and working with APIs Interest in developer tools or documentation What You’ll Get Direct mentorship from the founder Freedom to experiment, ship features, and make decisions Real-world product development experience Flexible remote work and schedule Potential to convert to a full-time or long-term role This is a paid internship .
