Job Description

### Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the team to maintain and enhance the Symplr Spend application. * Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. * Modernize and unify the user interface by bridging AngularJS and Angular while implementing a clear design strategy. * Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively. * Optimize the applications performance and address areas with technical debt. * Utilize AWS ECS and other services to maintain robust and scalable infrastructure. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while participating in code reviews. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features and improvements. ### Qualifications: **Must-Have:** * 3+ years of experience in front-end development. * Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/SASS. * Strong expertise in Angular (2+ and above) and TypeScript. * Experience with AngularJS and a solid understanding of migrating AngularJS applications to Angular. * Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. * Problem-solving skills with a knack for untangling complex systems. * A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with both modern and legacy technologies. ### Nice-to-Have: * Experience/Knowledge of server side applications. (e.g Ruby On Rails) * Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker. * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools. * An eye for improving UI/UX consistency and usability. * A proactive attitude toward addressing technical debt and enhancing system maintainability.
