We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. Job Title: Software Quality Engineer (Automation) Required Experience: 7 + years Job Location: Ahmedabad/Pune Educational Qualifications: UG: B.E/B.Tech or PG: MCA/MSC IT Company name: Zymr System pvt ltd What you will do: Develop and maintain automation tests in Python with the Pytest framework. Must have skills: Python Programming with a good grasp of OOPS concepts and data structures. Very good understanding of Pytest Framework with Selenium . Knowledge of Linux OS and bash/sh scripting. Should be adaptable to changing Python development environments (virtual environments, python updates, pip, etc..) Good understanding of Page Object Modelling / Data Driven tests in Selenium. Experience in Command Line Interface automation testing is an added advantage. Familiar with web application development and QA practices in a CICD setup. Writing effective, linter-compliant,easy-to-maintain code. Basic understanding of Jenkins pipelines. Good communication skills. Roles and Responsibilities: Work with the team to understand the application to identify the automation testing needs. Work independently to understand the existing test framework to maintain, improve and to add new tests. Independently handle additional project verification and validation needs. Adhering to the project development processes by effectively managing tasks/bugs in JIRA. Monitoring Automation test results from Jenkins runs and quickly responds to mitigate any issues. Executing automation tests on development and production environments against different branches whenever needed. Understanding the requirements for developing tests from the JIRA tasks. Efficient and timely communication with clients team members regarding the tasks on hand. Proposing solutions against the tasks to get the clients acknowledgment before starting the task. Tools and Technology: Test frameworks: Selenium, Pytest Scripting: Sh/Bash Programming Languages: Python Version Control: Bitbucket (Git) or any other version-controlling tool. OS: - Linux, Mac IDE: - VS Code, Pycharm DB: - PostgreSQL API testing: Postman. Familiar with Rest 2.0 API
