Job Description

Role & responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities within Central and State Government sectors. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers. Develop a thorough understanding of the client's needs and offer software solutions tailored to their requirements. Drive the sales process from lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiations, to deal closure. Meet and exceed sales targets by leveraging existing relationships and generating new business. Coordinate with technical and delivery teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions. Stay updated on government procurement processes, including e-tenders, GEM (Government e-Marketplace) and other procurement platforms. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management. Requirements : 2-5 years of experience in software sales with a strong track record of selling to government clients (both State and Central). Deep understanding of the procurement processes in the government sector, including e-tenders and GEM. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage complex sales cycles and work with cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field is preferred. Note: Please apply those candidates who worked into Government Projects only.
