Software Test Engineer

Job Description

Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test cases. Perform functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Execute test plans manually and/or with automated testing tools. Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Work closely with development and product teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups (Agile/Scrum environment). Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and processes. Ensure test documentation is up to date and comprehensive.
