Details : Senior Technical Python Automation Test Engineer(10-12Yrs Exp.) No. of Openings : 2 ( immediate basis 1 position to be filled) Summary : In this purely technical role , will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of automotive software systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Python to verify software functionality, performance, and security. Troubleshoot, debug , and provide detailed reports on any test failures or issues. Develop test plans, write test cases, and manage test execution in an automated environment. Ensure that testing processes follow industry standards and meet regulatory requirements within the automotive sector. Continuously improve the testing processes, tools, and frameworks . Mentor junior engineers and assist with code reviews to ensure best practices in Python and automation testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and system architects to identify testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals. Perform integration system and regression testing on automotive software components and hardwares. Qualifications: Experience: 8+ years of experience in testing, with a focus on Python automation in automotive or embedded systems. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Python-based testing frameworks like Robot Framework or PyTest, unittest, Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar. Hands-on experience with automated testing of embedded software testing. Familiarity with automotive communication protocols like CAN, Extra. Canoe Setup/Configurations additional addon. Experience in using test management tools such as JIRA , XRAY or similar. Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git ). Strong understanding of software testing methodologies such as Agile and Scrum . Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work independently and lead projects while adhering to deadlines.
