Role & responsibilities Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong experience in manual testing across web and mobile applications. Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Familiarity with test case design techniques (e.g., boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, etc.). Knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Basic knowledge of Automation Testing and tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or TestNG. Experience with version control tools like Git. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Ability to work in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous): Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into build processes. Familiarity with database testing and SQL queries. Ability to mentor and support other team members in automation efforts. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 1.5+ years of experience in manual testing with a solid understanding of Automation Testing principles. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail and ability to detect issues that may affect software functionality. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
